Simsbury In Search Of Development Advisor

SIMSBURY, CT — Local officials are looking for volunteers to serve a key role in guiding the town's future development, specifically in the business community.

The Town of Simsbury this week issued a call for someone to serve on the Simsbury Economic Development Commission.

A town's EDC is an advisory board that works with current and prospective business developers in town, and it creates policy about the direction that the town is going regarding future development.

The economic development commission primarily serves the town's board of selectmen, which appoints its members.

It meets once per month, either virtually or in person at a designated site in town.
