
Simsbury High School senior Eduardo Rosadio has organized a charity tennis tournament to benefit Care Center For Cancer And Blood Disorders At Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Hartford.
The event is to "give a helping hand to our children sick with cancer, to their families, to play the sport we love and to make a dent" in a problem, Rosadio said.
The event, set for Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sunday, Sept. 1 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., is open to everyone.

It is set to take place at the tennis courts at Simsbury Farms golf Course: 100 Old farms Road (Rain location is Simsmore Tennis Club in Simsbury).

Visit crosscourtxtennis.sitespawner.com website to register and for more information. Participants pay a fee and can donate via PayPal and have a chance to be sponsored.

Rosadio is a rising senior at Simsbury High School, a passionate tennis player and a future doctor who hopes to be able to do much more in the future.
