Simsbury's Elected Officials To Be Sworn Into Office

Those elected Nov. 4 will officially start their new terms of office on Monday, with the public invited to a special ceremony.

SIMSBURY, CT — The community is invited to one of the town's more historic buildings to watch several municipal officials etch their names in the Simsbury history books.

Residents can stop by Eno Memorial Hall, 754 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury, on Monday, Dec. 1, at 6 p.m. to watch the town's newest group of elected leaders be officially sworn in.

Led by Democratic First Selectman Wendy Mackstutis, who as elected to another term as the town's top elected official on Nov. 4, the new slate of leaders encompasses myriad boards/commissions.

Slated to be sworn in to new terms are members of the board of selectmen, board of finance, board of education, board of assessment appeals, planning commission, zoning commission, zoning board of appeals, and the Simsbury Public Library Board of Trustees.
