SIMSBURY, CT — One of the town's more beloved rites of spring starts this weekend with the opening of the "Simsbury Swap Shop" at the town's transfer station.
This unique feature is a place where one's trash can become one's treasure, providing a community benefit to those donating and those picking up stuff.
It will open on Saturday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Simsbury Transfer Station, 66 Wolcott Road (near the Simsbury Airport).
