Simsbury Roadway Finally Open After After Vehicle Hits Pole: UPDATE
The accident happened early Thursday night, with Simsbury police early Friday providing added details.

SIMSBURY, CT — No serious injuries, but a lot of traffic headaches, were reported following a serious crash Thursday night that still has traffic snarled Friday morning.
But at 12:12 p.m. Friday, Simsbury police finally were able to tell the public that Route 315 was reopened.
According to the Simsbury Police Department, at about 7:05 p.m. Thursday, the department received calls for a single-car motor vehicle accident on Route 315 in the area of 110 Tariffville Road.

Police said emergency personnel arrived on the scene to discover a vehicle had collided with a utility pole and was off the roadway.
The preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle was traveling southbound on Tariffville Road when it went off the roadway and collided with the utility pole.

The occupants were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the SPD.
As of early Friday morning, Tariffville Road (Route 315) was closed to traffic between the intersections of Quarry Road and the intersection of Elm St/Winthrop Street, while utility crews work to repair the damaged pole.
Any motorists attempting to get to Tariffville or Route 189 nad to use Wolcott Road as a detour.
Route 315 is open.
