What's Coming in April to Redbox in Simsbury, and to Netflix

Interstellar, the Imitation Game, The Penguins of Madagascar and Night at the Museum: The Secret of the Tomb will all be available soon the Redbox kiosk in Stop & Shop at 498 Bushy Hill Rd. in Simsbury, according to the Redbox website.

Here’s a list of what’s coming (through April 21) on Redbox and what’s arriving on Netflix in April (along with what movies and shows are leaving Netflix in April).

HBO is launching its own streaming service, “HBO Now,” on April 12 for $14.99 a month, available on Apple devices (and perhaps others) as this Consumer Reports article mentions. Perhaps in reaction to that, the magazine reports, many cable companies have cut the cost for customers to add HBO to their subscriptions. Cablevision is one cable company that won’t cut its rates — instead, it will carry HBO Now for the service’s regular $15 price, Consumer Reports says.
