Zombies in the Stack, Backpack Fun, a Free Movie and More in Simsbury

Yes it's Monday morning but the good news is there are some fun events in Simsbury this week. Here are just a few. 

1. Zombies in the Stacks for teens entering grades 7 to 12 comes to Simsbury Public Library Wednesday. The event features two films and some special guests. See more in our calendar listing. 

2. Play it safe with a free blood pressure screening. Click here for details. 

3. Watch The Lorax! by Dr. Suess in a free showing at the Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, Aug. 21. Movie starts at dusk and gates open at 6 p.m. Call the Performing Arts Center at 860-651-4052 with any questions.

4. It's backpack parade fun at St. Alban's Thursday night. As this calendar listing notes, "No religion required." 

5. Friday night a Camp Style Shabbat comes to Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation.
