Fred Astaire studio owners wins 2022 New England Top Executives Award!

It’s been only six months since Fred Astaire Dance Studios Southbury reopened their doors of their new studio location at Southbury Plaza, and already they’ve garnered some of the franchise’s most coveted awards. Fred Astaire Connecticut awarded owners Christian Lange and Paulo Jorge with the Connecticut Top Studio Award of 2022 at Patterson Club in Fairfield this past January. At New England Freddy Ball Award Ceremony on February 25th held at Hyatt Regency Greenwich, they again followed that success by winning New England Top Executives of 2022 for demonstrating continuous exceptional skills, dedication and leadership. This is their third Top Executives achievement since they opened in 2012.

The criteria for winning Top Executives are rigorous. The award is given to the studio that has maintained an exceptional standard of excellence and progressed dramatically in all areas, including customer service, products and systems. Top Executives winners must demonstrate exceptional skills in raising awareness of dance within their demographic area, as well as maintain a positive, memorable image of the studio in the eyes of the public.

Adding to their studio achievement was a 1st Place Top Newcomer Teacher Award given to their dance instructor Ihor Chibishev, one of the world’s premier ballroom dancers. With his immense experience in all forms of ballroom, Ihor is known for his flawless technique, charismatic personality, and effortless ability, he has share his passion for dance with students of all ages. Ihor joined the Southbury studio in January of 2022 and quickly rose to the top. He has been winning numerous championships and trophy titles with his dance partner, Diana Zhosan since they joined the studio.
