Southbury Bridge Project Moves Forward
The town is providing a public information forum on a project to rehabilitate bridges with an estimated cost of $750,000 to $1 million.

SOUTHBURY, CT — The town is providing a public information forum on a project to rehabilitate bridges with an estimated cost of $750,000 to $1 million, according to a statement. The project, which involves the bridges that carry Flood Bridge Road and Heritage Road over the Pomperaug River, is currently in the bidding award phase.
The project consists of rehabilitation of the bridges including deck repair and resurfacing, joint repair and miscellaneous concrete repair to the foundations.
The town will hold a presentation Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Room 205 in Town Hall.
