Southbury Parks & Rec Seeks Teens For Counselor-In-Training Program

The following announcement is from Southbury Parks and Recreation:
SOUTHBURY, CT — Southbury Parks and Recreation is accepting applications for Counselor-in-Training program. C.I.T. is a program for Grades 9-12 who enjoy spending time with children, want to help the community while learning leadership skills. C.I.T.'s are expected at camp from 8:00am-3:00pm daily for the week they are registered for (C.I.T.'s will leave one hour before camp ends). C.I.T. will get to partake in all camp activities with their group, have the opportunity to lead a craft/activity station, and participate in weekly leadership training and meeting with the Camp Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor.
Note: There are a limited number of spaces for this program. Spaces will be filled on a rolling basis and may close at any time.

Applications, with a reference letter from a coach/teacher, must be submitted by May 16, 2022.
