Southbury Public Works Announces 2022 Road Repaving Projects

More than 60 roads in Southbury are scheduled to receive some repairs.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Fourteen Southbury roads are scheduled to be milled and repaved this year, and another 47 roads will receive chip and seal work, the Southbury Public Works Department announced.

The work for milling and paving has been scheduled to begin the week of April 25, 2022, starting with the following areas: Oak Tree/Bullet Hill/Depot Hill Roads and River/Midland Trails.

The work for chip sealing has been scheduled to begin the week of May 2, 2022.

Please note that the schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and scheduling with outside vendors.

Electronic signs and/or other road signs will be placed in the areas scheduled to be resurfaced ahead of work.

Motorists are asked to drive slow in construction zones and use alternate routes if possible. Thank you.
