Southbury Resident Wins Big Lottery Prize

The big win came on a scratch ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

SOUTHBURY, CT — A Southbury resident recently won $25,000 on a scratch ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won $25,000 on a 100X 2nd Edition scratch ticket that was sold at Naugatuck Foodmart at 620 North Church St. in Naugatuck, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent in accordance with a new Connecticut law, which was effective Oct.1, 2025.
