The Trumbull-Porter Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution gathered recently to make 154 Valentine cards and 402 individually-wrapped bags of assorted regular and sugar-free candies for residents of the West Haven Veterans Hospital. This is one way the chapter can say "thank you" by acknowledging and recognizing veterans' service, sacrifice and committment to our nation's freedom.
