Bread For Life's 'Holiday Market' To Offer Unique Gifts In Southington
The nonprofit dedicated to battling food insecurity is hosting its annual shopping event this weekend to raise money for its cause.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A prominent Southington nonprofit dedicated to battling food insecurity is hosting a special event Saturday to raise money to help those in need.
However, in addition to that, Southington Bread for Life's 2025 "Holiday Market" on Saturday, Dec. 13, will offer the community a unique shopping experience featuring locally produced food and gift options.
The market will take place at Bread for Life, which is located at 31 Vermont Ave., Southington, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Playing a key role in the event is Bread for Life's "Southington Honey Company," a charitable offshoot of the nonprofit in which sweet bee nectar is sold to benefit the organization.
"We have perfect stocking stuffers, gifts for teachers, hostess gifts — something for everyone on your list," wrote Bread for Life in an announcement.

In addition to locally produced honey, the market will also have, among other items, chocolate chip cookies, holiday note cards, body scrubs, candles, and other quaint gift options.
