2 Teens Charged With Torching Toilets At Historic Site In Wethersfield: Police

The Glastonbury males are accused of arson against portable toilets at a prominent Wethersfield location last summer.

WETHERSFIELD/GLASTONBURY, CT — Local police said Wednesday that two young Glastonbury men are accused of toilet arson in connection with an incident at a Wethersfield historical site last summer.

According to the Wethersfield Police Department, the suspects have been identified as Casey Miller Dudzinski, 18, and Nathan Daniel Caron, 19, both of Glastonbury.

They both were charged with third-degree arson, conspiracy to commit third-degree arson, second-degree criminal mischief, and conspiracy to commit second-degree criminal mischief, police said.

Both were released on a $25,000 bond, and they will appear in New Britain Superior Court on Jan. 7, 2026.

According to the WPD, on July 20 and Aug. 3 of this year, two separate, unoccupied portable toilets were intentionally set on fire and "permanently damaged" at the Solomon Welles House, 220 Hartford Ave.

The subsequent police probe tied the duo to the incident, resulting in both teens being taken into custody on Wednesday.
