Crash Cleared On I-84 In Southington: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A serious, two-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 in Southington backed up traffic there for hours, but it is now clear.

The State Department of Transportation reports the accident was on I-84 West between exits 29 and 27, resulting in the closure of the right lane.

The crash was first reported at 7:58 a.m. and, but Monday afternoon, it was finally taken off the DOT's incident report.
