Crash Cleared On I-84 In Southington: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A crash on Interstate 84 in Southington caused morning traffic problems for motorists on Friday, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it has since been cleared.

The DOT reports the single-vehicle accident happened on I-84 East between exits 31 and 32, resulting in the closure of the left and center lanes.

The accident was first reported at 5:29 a.m., and it is no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
