Dementia's Impact Topic Of Special Southington Movie Screening
The Main Street Community Foundation next week is hosting two screenings/discussions of the documentary 'Human Forever.'

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Residents next week are invited to two special film screenings of a poignant documentary about dementia and its impact on caregivers and those afflicted.
And, in the process, they will learn a thing or two about how the Southington community can have a more inclusive environment for those with cognitive impairment.

The award-winning international 2024 documentary film "Human Forever" is coming to Southington for two special screenings.
Before the screening, attendees will be able to engage in a live discussion between experts and author, activist, and filmmaker Teun Toebes and Jonathan DeJong about what’s important for building inclusive communities.

:Everyone will leave the events with inspiration and a call to action that provides tangible ways to become involved," wrote the Main Street Community Foundation out of Bristol, which is a sponsor of the two screenings.
• The first screening is Monday, Oct. 28, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church Meeting House, 37 Main St., Southington.
• The second one is Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at LiveWell, 1261 S. Main St., Plantsville.
