Enjoy A Taco And Help CT's Pets At Southington Benefit

The Connecticut Veterinary Medical Foundation is hosting its 'Cinco De Meow' benefit at a Southington eatery April 27.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A statewide charitable organization dedicated to helping Connecticut's pets will host a very unique fund-raiser in Southington at the end of the month.

The Connecticut Veterinary Medical Foundation is hosting what is called a "Cinco De Meow" benefit on Thursday, April 27, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Witch Doctor Brewery, 168 Center St., Southington.

Tickets are $50 and entitle a participant to a beer/glass of wine, two tacos and a dessert, though there is a 20 percent discount for those who purchase two or more tickets.

Proceeds benefit the CVMF's programs that aim to improve the health and well being of pets.

"The Connecticut Veterinary Medical Foundation is the charitable and service arm of the veterinary community of Connecticut, the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA)," reads the CVMF's website.
