First Baptist Church hosts Christmas Eve Service of Lessons and Carols
Christmas Eve service to be held at 6 p.m., First Baptist Church, 581 Meriden Ave., Southington. All are welcome.
SOUTHINGTON – First Baptist Church of Southington, 581 Meriden Ave., will host its traditional Christmas Eve Service of Lessons and Carols on Tuesday, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. This service, led by the Rev. Sharon Holt, includes special music and soloists, scripture, the Christmas message, and the lighting of the Christ candle. It concludes with “Silent Night” sung by candlelight. The sanctuary features the Nativity scene, a Christmas tree and an extensive display of poinsettias.
