SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Town of Southington Saturday is hosting a rabies clinic for local dogs and cats.
A rabies vaccination is a requirement for getting a license renewed and the Southington Dog Pound will host a rabies vaccine clinic from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 10.
The dog pound is located at 646 Woodruff St.

According to the town, dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier.
Pet owners seeking a three-year vaccination for their canine or feline must bring old vaccination records.

The vaccines are $20, cash only.
Meanwhile, the local town clerk will be at the clinic to issue dog licenses, with fees for them being by cash or check (no credit cards).
