Go Shopping For A Good Cause In Southington
The Friends of Southington Community Services is hosting a special shopping event this weekend to raise money to help those in need.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A major shopping event in Southington this Saturday will not only provide folks a good chance for good stuff at good prices, but it will also help those who help the community.
The one-day bazaar, “Shopping with Friends,” will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, sponsored by Friends of Southington Community Services.
This fundraiser will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Southington, 581 Meriden Ave. There is no admission fee.

This event is similar to the popular "Unique Boutique" held each spring and features high-end clothing, footwear, purses, home goods, and more.
Light refreshments will also be on hand.

Cash, checks, credit cards, and Venmo will be accepted.
Proceeds benefit Southington Community Services, which helps out residents facing economic difficulties and food insecurity.
