Health Department In Southington Seeks Community Input

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Southington-based regional health department serving three area towns is asking residents to help them help its respective communities.

The South-Central Health District, 196 N. Main St., Southington, serves the towns of Middlefield, Plainville and Southington.

Now, the health department has an online "community health needs assessment" asking folks what they want more of in a health department.

The results will help health officials determine future programs and initiatives.

"By completing this survey, it will guide the development of programs and resources that can improve health outcomes for everyone. Join us in building a healthier, stronger community," wrote the health district.
