I-84 Crash Cleared In Southington: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A two-vehicle accident on Interstate 84 in Southington had slowed traffic late Wednesday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the crash was on I-84 East between exits 30 and 31, initially resulting in the closure of the left lane but, eventually, requiring the shoulder to be closed.

The wreck was first reported at 11:06 a.m., and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
