Major Road Repave To Start Wednesday Night In Southington
The overnight project will finish up by Friday morning, the town's public works department said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A major overnight paving project will start in Southington Wednesday night and continue until Friday morning.
According to the Town of Southington's Highway Department, Tilcon will begin paving West Street on Wednesday, Sept. 10, starting at 8 p.m.

Wednesday's work will begin on the lower section of West Street near Hart Street and proceed from there.
Overnight work will continue on Thursday evening beginning at 8 p.m.

All sections of West Street that need paving and the section of Atwater Street in between Marion Avenue and the Interstate 84 East exit ramp should be completed the morning of Friday, Sept. 12, town officials said.
Tilcon will return the morning of Monday, Sept. 15, to begin the completion phase of Mount Vernon Road.
