Obituary: Darcie L. Landrette, 54, Of Southington

The 1985 Southington High School graduate was a dedicated employee at the Bristol Child Development Center for 16 years.

SOUTHINGTON/BRISTOL, CT — It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Darcie L. Landrette on January 5, 2023.

Darcie was born on October 5, 1968 in New Britain. She graduated from Southington High
School in 1985 where she was part of the VOAG program. Darcie was a dedicated employee at
the Bristol Child Development Center for 16 years.

She enjoyed riding her horse and taking care of her rescue animals.

Darcie was a fiercely loyal person whose generosity was only surpassed by her authenticity. She
will be deeply missed by her family, many friends and her cherished fur babies.

Darcie is survived by her mother, Janet Sokol and her husband Eugene of Southington, her
stepmother, Barbara Moquin of Windsor, her siblings, Stacy Moquin, Jennifer Wanzo, Jennifer
& Lt. Firal Robinson and Gregory Winchell.

She is also survived by her children by marriage, Marie Landrette, Amanda Caron, Edward
Robinson, Carl Robinson, Albert Landrette and Joseph Landrette, her granddaughter, Tina
Landrette, nieces, Ariella Wanzo, Jordan Wanzo, Nicole Torres and nephew, Sean Stewart.

She is also survived by her beloved fur babies, her horse Gem and dogs, Hazel and Trudy.

She was predeceased her father, Ronald Moquin, maternal grandparents, Barry and Thelma
Long and paternal grandparents, Fred and Jane Hill.

Per family’s request, in lieu of sending flowers, please make a donation in Darcie’s memory to
the rescue that Hazel & Trudy came from, Friends All United for Natchitoches Animals
