Susan E. Golambiski Benson, 77, of Southington, beloved wife of 53 years to the late Kenneth P. Benson, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025 at her home. Loving sister of William "Bill" Golambiski of East Haven. Sister-in-law of Mary Ellen LaFerriere, Patricia Reilly and the late Elizabeth Osborne and Edward Schlask. Susan was born in Barnstable (Hyannis), MA on July 12, 1948 daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn Lenoise Golambiski. She began working at Horowitz Fabric in New Haven and later worked at The Olson Factory, where she was a secretary. For many years, Susan volunteered countless hours at Seven Angels in Waterbury and also volunteered at the Southington Calendar House Senior Center. She was an avid fan of the Coconuts Music Group.
Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven SATURDAY morning September 20, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment, along with her husband, will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
