Plantsville Engine Co.'s Annual Christmas Tree Sale Has Started
The Southington Fire Department unit has 400 trees of varying sizes as part of a major fundraiser, which started Friday, Nov. 29.

PLANTSVILLE/SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Southington Fire Department's Plantsville Engine Co. 2, starting Friday, Nov. 29, is hooking up holiday revelers with Christmas trees.
The department's annual Christmas tree sale is taking place at the fire company's headquarters at 128 W. Main St., Plantsville.
And with 400 Christmas trees in stock, the fire company fundraiser has a wide variety of trees to fit the tastes of any reveler.

The inventory includes 5 to 6-foot trees for $60; 6 to 8-foot trees for $80; and trees 8 feet and up for $ 100.
Hours for the tree sale are Friday, Nov. 29, from noon to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 30, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As always, there is free delivery in town if you don't have a vehicle to take your tree home.
The tree sale is ongoing on weekends until supplies run out.
