Rabies Clinic To Vaccinate Dogs And Cats In Southington

The event will take place at the Calendar House on Saturday, June 14.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Town of Southington on Saturday, June 14, is hosting a rabies clinic where both rabies vaccines and Southington dog licenses can be obtained.

The event till take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Calendar House, 388 Pleasant St., Southington.

The vaccines are $20 each (cash only), with those wishing to get a three-year vaccine asked to bring old vaccination records as proof of need.

Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in cat carriers.

People are asked to stay in their vehicles until prompted for their turn, organizers said.

In addition, staff with the Southington Town Clerk's office will be on hand to issue dog licenses, which can be obtained via cash or check (no credit cards). Checks should be made out to the "Town of Southington" for licenses.
