Southington Chamber's 'Big Give' A Big Success
The chamber announced Thursday a massive haul of support as part of its townwide donation collection campaign for Southington's needy.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The local chamber's recently completed "Big Give" campaign this holiday garnered a massive haul of goodwill for Southington-area nonprofits helping the less fortunate.
According to the Southington Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, "The Big Give 2024" collected more than 3,000 donations of food, clothing, personal care products, and toys to support local families in need.

With collection sites scattered throughout the chamber's membership, the program aided several local non-profits including the: Margaret C. Griffin Child Development Center; Southington Bread For Life; and Southington Community Services.
Team members from Southington Community Services Jon Moise and Joe Sicotte loaded up the service van with help from Barbara Coleman-Hekeler, Southington Chamber of Commerce's president and chief executive officer, and Jennie Paulsen, the chamber's membership program and events coordinator.

"We extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who helped make The Big Give 2024 a huge success," wrote the chamber Thursday.
