Southington Election Results 2023: Polls Close, Votes Being Counted
Thousands of Southington residents have cast their votes in the 2023 municipal election in a number of key races.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The polls have closed in Southington and the votes are being counted to determine numerous key races on the town council, board of finance, and school board.
The following is Southington's 2023 election ballot and results (when available):
Town Council (vote for six)

For town council, you'll vote for up to six people.
Democratic candidates are: Jack Perry, Edward Pocock III, Stephen M. Salerno, Valerie DePaolo, David Zoni and Chris Palmieri.

Republican candidates include: Tony Morrison, Jim Morelli, Paul Chaplinsky Jr., William Diedzic, Jennifer Clock and Michael Del Santo.
Board of Finance (vote for four)
Democratic candidates are: Kevin Beaudoin, Effie Montogiannis, Candice Mazzarella and ChristopherR. Robertson.
Republican candidates include: John Leary, Wayne Stanforth, Joe Labienic and Edward Pocock Jr.
Board of Education (vote for six)
The Democratic candidates are: David Derynoski, Zaya G. Oshana, Bob Brown, Annie Wellington, Terri Carmody and Lisa Cammuso.
The Republican candidates are: Cecil Whitehead, Colleen W. Clark, Joseph Baczewski, Sean Carson, James Chrzanowski and Jasper Williams.
Planning and Zoning Commission (vote for three)
The Democratic candidates are: William Knoegel, Katrina Cairo and Caleb Cowles.
The Republican candidates are: Todd Chaplinsky and Robert Britton.
Water Commissioners (vote for three)
The Democratic candidates are: Robert M. Berkmoes
The Republican candidates are: Domenic Perone and Ron Lamoreux Jr.
