Southington Hosting Info Session On Kindergarten Registration

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Parents with children of kindergarten age or approaching kindergarten age might want to plan to attend a special event with Southington Public Schools Monday, March 11.

That's because the Southington School System is hosting a kindergarten registration information session on Tuesday, March 11, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at DePaolo Middle School, 385 Pleasant St. (Sign-ins start at 5:30 p.m. that day)

The event is for all parents/guardians who have children entering kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year.

This session will provide parents/guardians with some general information about the registration process and the day-in-the-life of a kindergartener.

The opportunity to discuss details that are specific to each school will be provided at a later time.

Following a brief presentation by the school administration and teaching staff, parents/guardians can ask questions.
