Southington Seeks Folks Looking To 'Adopt' A Family For Christmas
Southington Community Services is looking for people/organizations to adopt a less fortunate family and help make their holiday special.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — The town is looking for businesses, groups, families, and individuals to step up and help their neighbors this holiday season.
Southington Community Services Friday said it is seeking people to “adopt” local families for its 2024 holiday gift program, called the "Adopt-a-Family Program."
"The holiday times are a time of caring and sharing," wrote community services on its website. "This program is a way to help families enjoy all the traditions and presents for the season, to ensure it is happy for all residents, regardless of their income."

People or organizations who "adopt a family" provide whatever help they can to ensure those struggling financially can enjoy the holiday season.
