Southington Teacher 'Makes A Difference In Every Student's Life'

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Great teachers matter. In Southington, we're fortunate to have teachers like Kim Padroff.

This submission comes from Sue Whitehead who nominated her sons' elementary school teacher Kim Padroff of Southington.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mrs. Padroff goes above and beyond like no other for her students. My youngest just graduated from high school in June and a bunch of graduates that went to the same elementary school (and had her for 3rd or 5th grade) got together the week after graduation and were talking about what a wonderful teacher she was, so we texted her and she was at the gathering within the hour so she could catch up with the kids and talk about their post-grad plans.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Mrs. Padroff is one of a kind and makes a difference in every student's life.
