A thanks to Marc Lovely

The Southington Land Conservation
Trust would like to thank Mark Lovely, of Lovely Development Inc., for his
generous gift of sixty acres of land on Welch Road to be designated as open
space. The former golf course which has been reverting to it’s natural state is
a valuable addition to the land already conserved by the Land Trust. We plan to incorporate the trails in our layout of the parcel and the rest of the property will be earmarked for use
after a full tour so as to maximize the best use of the parcel for passive
recreation in the near future. The official opening will be announced at a
later date and time to officially thank Mr. Lovely.
