Tractor-Trailer Crash Cleared In Southington: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A serious, multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 84 in Southington Tuesday afternoon caused traffic issues for motorists, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports that a tractor-trailer collided with two vehicles on I-84 West between exits 27 and 28, resulting in the closure of the left lane.

The crash was first reported at 12:56 p.m., and it was no longer listed on the DOT's incident report by 2:35 p.m.
