TT Crash In Southington On I-84 Causes Big Traffic Jam: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 84 in Southington is causing major traffic headaches in Southington Friday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The DOT reports the crash was on I-84 West between exits 33 and 32, resulting in the closure of the right lane and a massive traffic jam 5.3 miles long.

The accident was first reported at 2:22 p.m. and it is "unknown" when it will be cleared.
