Accident On I-84 In Southington Cleared: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT — An overturned motor vehicle on Interstate 84 in Southington on Tuesday afternoon caused traffic woes amid a winter storm in the state, but it is now cleared.

The state Department of Transportation reports a single vehicle overturned on I-84 East between exits 30 and 31, resulting in the closure of the left lane.

This accident was first reported at 12:53 p.m., and it is no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.

The crash comes as crews in West Hartford on I-84 continued to tend to the scene of an overturned tractor-trailer on the westbound portion of the highway there.
