'Seizure' Causes Highway Crash In Willington: State Police

WILLINGTON, CT — A 23-year-old driver suffered what state police described as a seizure just before a weekend crash in Willington, a report from state police says.

According to a crash report, at 7:22 p.m. Saturday, the man was headed west on Interstate 84 in a 2011 Acura MDX, about a half-mile before Exit 71. After the seizure, the vehicle ran off the pavement and his a guardrail hard enough to cause "disabling damage," according to a crash report.

The driver, from Rocky Hill, escaped injury, according to a crash report.
