$50,000 Scratch-Off Ticket Claimed In Stamford

There are just 20 grand prize winners out of nearly 10 million tickets of the scratch-off game, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford resident is now $50,000 richer thanks to some luck and the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won the grand prize after playing the 50,000 Cashword 2nd Edition scratch-off game.

According to the Connecticut Lottery, the ticket was purchased at Elm Street Market, located at 320 Elm St. The scratch-off ticket costs $5.
