All Stamford Public Schools Classroom To Get Air Conditioning: Report

The project, which is underway, is reportedly expected to be completed this spring.

STAMFORD, CT — All Stamford Public Schools classrooms will receive air conditioning by the end of April, the Stamford Advocate reported.

About three-dozen window air conditioning units remained uninstalled at Westhill High School and Stamford High School as of last week, and those are reportedly expected to be installed in the next few weeks.

A 2022 survey found that more than 350 classrooms did not have some form of air conditioning, and the next year, the district began the effort to install window units.
