Vehicle Crashes Into UConn-Stamford Building: Police
The incident occurred early Christmas Day, according to police.
STAMFORD, CT — Two vehicles were involved in a collision early Christmas Day, and one was redirected into the front of the UConn-Stamford building, according to Stamford police.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Broad Street, Sgt. Jeffrey Booth said.
The operator of the vehicle that struck the building was taken to Stamford Hospital. After he was released, he was taken to Stamford Police Headquarters and charged with several motor vehicle charges, including reckless driving, Booth said.

Booth noted there is "a possibility" of alcohol intoxication. Further investigation is required.
