Another Shooting on Stamford's West Side

Luckily, no one was injured in the second shooting incident this week.

There’s been yet another shooting on Stamford’s West Side.

This time it was a car driven by a woman who had just dropped off a friend near the intersection of West Main Street and Rose Park Avenue while enroute to her home on the city’s East Side.

When the woman arrived at her East Side home Thursday evening, she found a bullet hole in the car’s passenger door, according to The Advocate. She reportedly told police she thought she may have heard a gun shot as she passed Rose Park Avenue. She was not injured.

It was near that same intersection on Monday when a volley of shots were fired at lunchtime. Miraculously, no one was injured when bullets pierced for nearby apartments and blew out the rear windshield of a parked SUV.

It is the fourth shooting in the area this month. On Nov. 8, a man was shot and critically wounded as he walked on Myano Lane. On Nov. 2, 43-year-old Maxine Gooden of Myano Lane, was fatally shot as she talked with friends in the parking lot of Lione Park.
