A Stamford man has been arrested on assault, threatening and unlawful restraint charges following a reported attack on his wife.
The suspect reportedly was unhappy he had to drive his wife to work and that she didn’t spend enough time taking care of his mother, according to The Advocate.
Apparently after the wife refused to stay home and care for her mother-in-law, Mohammed Azougagh, 38, threatened to take away his wife’s green card and other documents allowing her to stay in the United States, Stamford Police told The Advocate.
