Bridgeport Bluefish Host First-Ever Fish Fest This Saturday

This weekend the Bridgeport Bluefish will host the first-ever Fish Fest at the Ballpark at Harbor Yard Saturday, Sept. 5 from 1 to 11 p.m., according to a press release.

Some of the Fish Fest highlights include a country music theme with live performances, food trucks, rides and more, the release says.

“Our fans often say that they would love for us to host some sort of annual event at the Ballpark,” Bluefish General Manager Jamie Toole said in a release. “And everybody knows, you can never have too many live music events during the summer months. So we decided to combine these two things into one event and we came up with the concept for ‘Fish Fest.’”

General admission tickets cost $25 and can be purchased from the Bluefish Box Office here, the release says.
