On Wednesday, when Mendez-Pulido returned once more, a manager called the department and officers were sent to the restaurant. When they arrived, the officers said they witnessed Mendez-Pulido following a woman into the restaurant. Police said he stood close behind the woman, took out his phone and snapped a photo underneath her skirt. Officers immediately took him into custody.

Officers seized evidence from Mendez-Pulido's car that included a computer and numerous small cameras. He was charged with voyeurism and illegally obstructing free passage. His bond was set at $50,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 29.
