Why are you seeking this office?
I want to make Stamford a better place for my children. I have no aspirations for a higher office. My sole concern is Stamford and representing our neighborhoods in Hartford.
What do you believe is the No. 1 issue facing Connecticut, and how do you plan to address it?
Energy. Connecticut is uniquely positioned in New England to get the nearly half of its energy from nuclear power. I view nuclear power as the most essential non-natural resource that we possess.
There have been an alarming number of deaths on Connecticut's roadways. Is there anything from a legislative standpoint that can be done to address that?
Stamford needs to do a better job of hiring more police and making it easier for them to live in Stamford.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Energy / Education / Public Safety
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
In Finance, I managed our team throughout the pandemic working every day as the designated recovery employee on-site at the RBS building in Stamford. I'm also active in my community, volunteering with Homefront and OLSS.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
Think differently. Just because I have an (R) after my name shouldn't make you instinctively vote against me. I care about Stamford as much as you do. I care about our local environment. I care about proper governance, and I care about Public Education. We're neighbors, I care about you.
