Dave's Hot Chicken, Ulta, And Party City To Open In Stamford

STAMFORD, CT — The Ridgeway Shopping Center will get a boost from three major businesses that are set to move in.

According to the website for the shopping plaza, Ulta Beauty, Party City, and Dave's Hot Chicken are listed on the site map. Ridgeway Shopping Center is located at 2135-2715 Summer St.

Ulta Beauty

The national retailer of makeup, skin care, fragrance and hair care products will be located in unit 21, a 10,150 square-foot space next to Burlington. The Ulta Beauty website notes a grand opening date of Oct. 25-28.

This will mark Connecticut's 21st Ulta Beauty location, according to the company's website. The closest Ulta to Stamford is in Norwalk at 650 Main Ave.

Party City

Party City will make its return to Stamford after closing over a year ago. The chain will be located next to Ulta inside a 10,495 square-foot space.

Stamford Advocate reported the store is expected to open in December.

There are Party City stores in East Hartford, Enfield, Fairfield, Hamden, Manchester, Newington, Norwalk, Orange, Simsbury, Waterbury and Waterford.

Dave's Hot Chicken

The popular fast-casual chicken chain will open in a 3,141 square-foot space between Carter's and Ideal Image at the Ridgeway Shopping Center.

Dave's Hot Chicken offers chicken sandwiches, meals and side — all part of a growing trend of chicken eateries nationwide.

The business was founded in Hollywood, Calif., in 2017 and it has exploded nationally. A location is also planned for Newington, CT.

Currently, Dave's Hot Chicken has franchises across the border in Massachusetts and New York.

The Advocate reported that Dave's Hot Chicken is aiming to open in the third quarter of 2025.
