Don't Miss This: 3rd Annual Multicultural Fair at K.T. Murphy

The event begins at 11 a.m. for school families and local community members to come learn about the different cultures that make up the school.

This Saturday, March 2, 2013, K.T. Murphy will host the 3rd Annual Multiculture Fair for school families and members of the local community.

The mission of the show is to "share and understand the cultures that make up K.T. Murphy’s demographics and greater community." The show fair begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m.

There will be representation from 19 countries that are present in the school community. This event will serve as an educational and informational element for not only students but the greater community.

In addition, to the educational element of it all there will be an opportunity view cultural artifacts, traditions, traditional food samplings and more from each country. Some countries will also be represented in authentic clothing and by performances.

The school is located at 19 Horton St., but school officials ask that visitors us the George St. entrance.
