DSW Leases 19,832 Square-Foot Space In Stamford

DSW appears poised to return to Stamford with a new location at a popular shopping center.

STAMFORD, CT — DSW, the chain that sells designer and name brand shoes and fashion accessories, is planning to open a new location in Stamford, according to the website for Regency Centers which owns the Ridgeway Shopping Center.

Regency Centers notes that DSW, also known as Designer Shoe Warehouse, has leased a 19,832-square-foot space on the upper level of the Ridgeway Shopping Center at 2113 Summer St.

DSW previously operated a store at 145 High Ridge Road. That space is currently being transformed into a Barnes & Noble, which is expected to open this spring.

The Ridgeway Shopping Center has 365,251 square feet of space and features several prominent tenants, such as Stop & Shop, Five Below, Staples, Ulta, Burlington, Old Navy, Marshalls, Michaels and LA Fitness, among others.

The property receives over 3 million annual visits, according to Regency Centers.
